Mission Statement
At Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at IU Indianapolis, our mission is to enhance the mental well-being of our student community through our innovative mental health peer support program. We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive campus environment by equipping students with the skills and knowledge to provide effective peer-to-peer support. Our program aims to foster a culture of acceptance, increase accessibility to mental health resources, and promote a community of wellness and safety. Through education, collaboration, and compassion, we strive to make mental health a priority and ensure that every student feels heard, supported, and valued.
